@Doephin @anthracite I'm not entirely convinced that in two months anything of any note will change. Even if it goes remarkably beyond expectations, indications are shit won't get any better. Maybe it'll just get worse.
Donations are absolutely a thing I need to look more deeply into. I just need to find the right ones. But that's a resonant thought, and a good one. Thank you.
I'm not entirely sure me being me and sticking around is /good/ for anyone. I'm aiding the problem, not helping the solution. Even when I'm in neutral, all I'm doing is commissioning porn silently and going to work for a megacorporation. People are still being stripped of their citizenship and loaded into camps/deported from their homes. It's not like I'm fighting. But, like, at this point it feels like what's needed is like some kind of ill-advised armed resistance. That not only is not within my comfort zone, it's also just a flippin' bad idea. So I suppose I'll grow old and die a fascist, rather than be murdered by authoritarians for resisting them.
Seems like a shitty legacy, and adding to the total harm in the world.

@anthracite @Phorm Eh, a Dem Congress and Senate can pretty much kneecap Orange Mussolini. The current batch has been covering for him pretty damn hard.
Commissioning porn is providing funds to people the assholes hate, so that's a net plus.

@Doephin @anthracite from what I understand, the Senate won't flip even in our wildest dreams. Plus, gerrymandering and voter suppression are unfortunate things. But I guess it's nice to dream.
