Well, despite substantial reason for it to be otherwise, get ready for the far-right to seize control of the judiciary for the next 35 years.
Even though they'll have inroads to criminalize woman's bodies, trod roughshod over the disadvantaged, and no doubt uphold as legal the concentration camps that immigrants and LGBT people will be sent to in order to die, look on the bright side:
At least an unhinged, misogynistic, entitled white man rapist will be the deciding vote on that!
Death can't come swiftly enough for me at this point. It would be a relief like none other.

@Phorm Court's size is set by legislation. Easy enough to add three or three hundred if he's a problem.

@Doephin Furthermore, there's no blue wave coming. Just so you know. That's a fiction and a farce.
This is what people want. That's how we got here.
They'll keep voting to push us further along this path.

@Phorm Most unpopular SCOTUS nominiee ever says otherwise.

@Doephin And yet! And yet!
He's being confirmed despite that. For life. Because spinless assholes are worried about not getting re-elected if they DON'T vote to confirm him.
Some people in this country are more important and worth more than others.
Apparently one person is most important of all.

@Doephin I'm sorry for being combative about this, but I just don't see any light at the end of this miserable tunnel.

@Doephin You think the Dems have the stones to do that? They won't. Because they fear the Republicans doing the same, and they want to appear "bipartisan" and "civil".
Bipartisanship means Dems wringing their hands about appearances, while Republicans shit on whatever they want to take more for themselves.
Haven't you noticed the GOP doesn't play by the rules, but the Dems still think they have to?
