Things you don't want to hear from the technician just before you get an MRI: "Well, this is going to be a challenge."
Also, props to the tech for trying to inject contrast into the back of my right hand, and instead getting a syringe full of my blood and giving up entirely. What, was going into my upper forearm too easy? Should we have gone under my tongue for the extra challenge??

@Phorm IV line in the hand I presume? that *can* work fine but a good tech will ask for sites that work well on you first..

@Phorm that's double stupid, they should have verified the IV worked and wasn't infiltrated*before* they even started. Urg, sorry you had to put up with that

@Doephin
According to them, that was the only way to do it. Based on what they were checking, and what they wanted - They needed to do a non-contrast MRI first, then inject me with contrast /without my moving/, and take more MRI scans with contrast in my system.
They needed to compare the contrast and non-contrast scans, and I wasn't supposed to move between them.
