Am... am I the only one who like, emotionally needs some warning of if a guest is going to be over for more than a handful of hours?

Like, generally the number of days they'll be visiting is also the number of days warning that's a bare minimum of me not being a ball of fucking anxiety?

In related news, wants to spend today working on my twine game and getting some chore things done.

Seems I'm spending it instead alternating between trying to clean and panic attacks.

@Draekos I'll clean when I get home

@Draekos definitely 100% ok, in fact, I feel like that would be common decency from the inviter and invitees.

@Draekos

I thought that kind of reaction is normal?

Not being given any kind of heads up is almost a given panic attack.

@Draekos No, it's definitely not just you. I had a friend once call me and ask if I'd give a cup of coffee in an hour and I felt like I was about to go into a panic attack, ended up saying no and sorry.

I do feel bad for that still, but in reality, I just don't function without some sort of plan, schedule or defined expectation and to my knowledge I do not have a medical reason as to explain why that is either. So no, you're definitely not alone.

@Draekos Oof, yeah. That's noy too much to ask, and I 100% feel your pain. All my plans tonight are also out the window because another surprise party at my house. Yaaaaaaaaay. *hugs on Kos*
