Finally got to Wano in my One Piece watchthrough with @Daikanu, and the quality-jump in animation even from the get-go is kind of mindblowing. One Piece has always had COMPETENT animation, for the most part, but it's never been this consistently excellent or manga-accurate.

I think my favorite part is how they do a lot of the backgrounds. A lot of establishing shots have this very subtle white negative space where static linework would ordinarily overlap; this is something Oda does in his linework for the manga panels to make sure details stand out.

@hystericempress Ooh! It's like ambient occlusion but with light instead of shadow. It's a good effect.
