Web UI question: what tools do you use specifically to scroll a page on a computer (not phone) that is taller than the window?

Just to peel back the curtain a little: if you click up/down arrow keys in DuckDuckGo search results, it seems to interpret that as selecting between search results and jumps ... somewhere on the page, I don't know where, usually that's when we give up on whatever we were trying to find.

like, the Tab key exists, Tab cycles through links on the page, this is not necessary

@packbat I was just complaining elsewhere about how frequently websites override default browser navigation and other functionality to make it slower and buggier and non-configurable. Like... why waste coder hours on that? What benefit is it to make people remember yet another set of rules on what keys do the same old stuff?
