@egypturnash On seeing this, there's the part of me that's tempted to ditch the CS6 I presently own and acquire CC, thinking that they've got to have worked out all the kinks by now, right? And it could be worth the effort just for the HiDPI support, since both of my computer displays are 4K now.

The other part of me, however, is perfectly aware of Adobe's track record as such things go. Are those installs left behind by updates, or did you keep them intentionally, and why?

@egypturnash Gyaaaah, that antialiased clipping mask thing has always driven me spare.

Actually, that's a major part of what drives me insane about Adobe, right there. There are so many aspects of their software that will forever remain deeply flawed, and the "fix" will be... some brand new feature that comes out and functions as a workaround, or someone selling a plugin that works around it, or just waiting until nobody thinks of it as a flaw anymore.
