I'm not sure how well known this is, but there are two game boy color games with music composed by Jeremy Soule (the composer for the Elder Scrolls series). They were both arranged for the platform by other musicians, but the original soundtrack (seen in the console and PC versions of the game) translates very well to chiptune. The games in question are the Harry Potter games from EA:

The second has the better music in my opinion.

@Felthry Ooooh we liked the music on that game quite a lot and may in fact still have the Sorcerer's stone cartridge around somewhere.

@Yarideki we have both of them! the second one is better in most respects.
