I wonder how many people would know what I'm talking about if I mentioned level 153 exploding bulbasaurs
@BatElite the well-known ZZAZZ glitch from gen 1 would overwrite large portions of memory with the value 153. This happens to be the identifier for bulbasaur, the move explosion, and the letter Z in the game.
@Felthry I'm not sure if my guess was too broad to be fun, but the issue with gen1 glitches is that there's too many to remember. :P
(Also what the heck is Bulbasaur doing at 153?)
@BatElite gen 1 had pokemon and trainer identifiers mixed together and scattered all over the place
@BatElite it's thought that the index numbers are just the order in which they were programmed into the game, which is corroborated by the knowledge that rhydon was the first pokemon to be designed (its index number is 1)
@Felthry Gen 1 seems magical in terms of the code.
@BatElite it probably is
@Felthry 🎶Blood magic is still magic!🎶
(That's not an actual song, but I feel like it should be.)
@Felthry Probably something glitchy from gen1, maybe gen2?
