dark souls stuff (spoilers)

well I went exploring because I can't beat ornstein and smough and I found the ash lake and

wow

this place has some interesting implications for the cosmology of the dark souls universe

re: dark souls stuff (spoilers)

also, these mushroom people hit like a ton of bricks

re: dark souls stuff (spoilers)

@Felthry Those mushrooms are wild but very predictable. If you can get to the end of the Ash Lake path, you find a rad as hell npc (who you should cut the tail off of for a really good weapon btw. don't worry about aggro'ing them, they don't care if you cut off their tail)

re: dark souls stuff (spoilers)

@SCP1471 !! I get to be a dragon!!

re: dark souls stuff (spoilers)

@Felthry yeah! did you get the tail?

re: dark souls stuff (spoilers)

@SCP1471 yes! but! dragon head stone!!

re: dark souls stuff (spoilers)

@Felthry The dragon stones are rad, just make sure you take off your armor before using them otherwise they'll break

Also unfortunately getting the torso stone involves joining and advancing in the covenant with Dragon Scales which are gained through pvp or rare drops from the blue drake assholes in the Valley of Drakes

re: dark souls stuff (spoilers)

@SCP1471 It wouldn't let me use it until I took off my helmet (which I had to look up that bit)

re: dark souls stuff (spoilers)

@Felthry ah okay, i forgot if it didn't let you use it if you had a helmet. but its fun, you can use it while you have the head to breathe fire!
