today we learned: the Farsi language has no concept of grammatical gender and is in general a pretty simple and straightforward language; all noun conjugation is done by adpositions like in English and the core vocabulary is familiar to anyone who speaks another indo-european language

seems like a good language to me

it does have verb conjugations with verb endings that you have to learn but that's not uncommon among indo-european languages, even english has remnants of such a system
