why are there no mediterranian food places around here, I want a plate of gyros and rice pilaf and there's nowhere to go here to get it
...and then I looked it up and found out there's a mediterranean place like one mile from our apartment that we hadn't known existed. time to see if that's any good!
ooh, but if I go a little further there's one that sounds really authenticky and stuff, they actually have a mediterranean grocery store attached and stuff
maybe we'll try the close one first though, don't want to drive all the wa y down there where it's all trafficky

@packbat yeah I mean how disappointing is it to go to a mediterranean restaurant and then find out that they think "a gyro" is a type of sandwich rather than gyros being a type of meat

well, that's a negative for that first mediterranean place
food's okay, but they committed the cardinal sin of not having gyros
although they claimed to have gyros, all they actually had were "chicken gyro" and "beef tender gyro" and "turkey club gyro" and stuff... no actual gyros-as-in-the-specific-spiced-meat-thing
probably going to try the authentic-looking place sometime in the next few weeks
