I always kind of appreciate it when there's just a single one of something in a video game for no explained reason
the single red snifit in mario 2, the single green rupee (in a chest) in quite a lot of zelda games, that kind of thing
there's nothing particularly special about them other than the fact that there's only one of them
@Felthry Ooh I like that sort of thing too~
@Felthry It's not quite not special but in Mega Man X7 there's one Birdy who sort of functions as a miniboss, but they will happily spawn in another part of the level as well.
Since the level is a bit of a cobbled together mess it feels like the Birdy is a bit of a weird holdover. :3
@Felthry I get the feeling that they really ran out of time or resources and pulled what they had together. Some levels are more logical than others.
I love the game though, for some reason. 💜
