random thought: has any first- or second-party nintendo game ever been released on a non-nintendo console?

...yeah, there was a donkey kong game on the 2600 too now that i think of it

was before nintendo *had* first-party consoles though, which probably explains why

@Felthry there was also Super Mario Bros Special on the Sharp X1, it was a Nintendo licensed port of the NES game developed by Hudson Soft

@Siphonay ooh, that's interesting. I wonder why the Sharp X1, was it just popular in Japan? Because I know we've never heard of it before.
