why exactly is there apparently a pandemic of fake how-to youtube videos

surely making real how-tos would be better and easier??

about fake how-to videos (food, youtube links)

as far as I can understand from them, fake is easier because lying means you can make the recipes impressively easy (because they don't have to work) while still showing dramatic and impressive results (which you didn't actually get) and the odds of trying to make something and wasting time because it didn't work out are really low (because it doesn't matter if it works out, you just fake the results)

also a lot of these videos are basically produced by content farms, so they probably severely underpay the people doing the work and then recycle the clips they record across loads of different videos
