I wonder if the popularity of Nintendo's new Clubhouse Games is going to lead to a surge in popularity of games like shogi, hanafuda, and riichi mahjong in the west?

@Felthry I didn't mean right away, either. I'm still at work. Tonight would work, though.
I imagine this is many people's first experience with them, since they're primarily popular in Japan and environs. It's certainly our first time playing any of them, and we've found we enjoy all three. We're actually, surprisingly enough, *good* at hanafuda, at least good enough to reliably beat the best AI clubhouse games offers. We haven't played against another sapient being yet. And we're not any good at shogi or riichi mahjong, but they're enjoyable enough to play.
