Is it an actual dish or a fictional one someone named by mashing keys?
@dodec i don't know, i think it's something mexican?
-F
Hmm. I've never heard of it and it doesn't turn up anything in the Spanish dictionaries I use. Maybe a typo for "asada"?
@dodec that's a possibility! it was in the appetizers section of a restaurant's online menu, supposedly a restaurant that specializes in cuisine from Mazatlán, so it might also be some kind of regional thing you only see in Sinaloa
-F
Ooh. Do you have a link I could look at?
@dodec https://www.grubhub.com/restaurant/mazatlan-mexican-restaurant-61419-south-highway-97-bend/1614496
it's looking more like a typo the more i look at it though--almost everything else either has a description or is a well known english word, and this has neither
all i know is that it's $12.50 and it's called adasdas
-F
The plot thickens. I found their actual web site (https://www.mazatlancentraloregon.com/menus) and the menu (a) doesn't have Adasdas on it, and (b) has a whole lot more other things. So what I'm guessing happened is that they got someone to transcribe the menu for GrubHub, limiting it to stuff they knew would deliver well, and they left a test entry in?
But then there are items on the GH menu that aren't even on the main one at all. So I have no idea what's going on. The addresses match, and the menu isn't _entirely_ different, but... it's very weird.
@dodec that's strange....
maybe we should just go there in person and find out
it's like research, but delicious!

@dodec mexican food is just *so good*

@Felthry
Nice. I love Mexican food, so I'm glad you've got a place for the good stuff.
