@Felthry It seems not. "Tactile" comes from Latin "tangere", meaning "to touch", while "tactic(s)" comes from Greek "taktike/taktikos", meaning "ordered or arranged thing".

@lorxus incidentally, i would be surprised if "tag" as in the children's game doesn't also ultimately come from that, given the connection to touching

@Felthry @lorxus If Wiktionary is right about "tag" the game being derived from the other meanings of "tag", then it's probably named more for the sense of marking the new chaser, which makes relation to the other words less likely.
