i want a jrpg where you kill the final boss and then that's the halfway point of the game, you don't get your credits and satisfaction until you've helped rebuild the stuff the big bad guy destroyed

it's rare enough to see any game even take on "you killed the big bad guy who was the reason you set out on this adventure, now you have to (get back home/kill the other bad guy who jumped into the power vacuum/do anything else that isn't like a tiny fraction of the game)"

there is only one game i know of where you kill the main bad guy on disc one and then spend all of discs 2 and 3 (metaphorically, it's a single-disc game) trying to right what he did wrong
