@Felthry It's always wild learning that normal UK things aren't normal in the US.

@KamareDrache Bars are *always* one-off things here, there are to our knowledge no chain places that serve primarily alcohol though there are chain *restaurants* that have bars in them

@Felthry Pubs generally serve food as well, which is at least as important as the alcohol, so there's that.

We have "sister" bars, here... bars that branched out to a second or third location, and often do have "II" or "III" in the name... but this is Wisconsin, and we really do have bars on nearly every city block...

I do know of chain barcades, and chain bar-restaurants but yeah, I'm having a difficult time thinking of bars that are just exclusively bars that aren't more than a one-off...
