why do we suddenly see a lot of people talking about "pspsps" as a way of calling a cat over
we have *literally* never heard anyone make a noise anything like that to call a cat, it's always a series of dental or alveolar clicks

@Felthry never once in my life have I heard anyone make that noise to a cat. I even tried doing it after finding out that's what people did apparently and none of the cats I have access to would respond to it. I've always done the clicky thing instead.
@mell i am glad it's not just us honestly

@Felthry same lol
@Felthry I, and others I know also use that one. :)
@Felthry Must be a regional thing. People around me have used pspspsps to call cats for as long as I can remember.
@terrana It must be! It's just odd that it's only in the last six months or so that we've heard anything about it.

@Felthry Could be a cultural/regional thing? It's always been 'pspspsps' for our family.
