People say, "You seem like a fun and interesting person, Austin," and then I have to explain I own *more than one* book about the history of calendars *written by someone with the name Duncan* so they won't mistake me for being fun or interesting ever again.

@Austin_Dern the history of calendars sounds like an interesting topic but yeah i can't excuse the fact that they're written by someone named duncan

@Felthry They're not even by the same Duncan, is the wild thing, for an extremely limited meaning of wild! One book, Duncan is the author's first name, the other, it's his last name. This is the stuff that fills my day when I'm not shoving comic strips in people's faces.

@Austin_Dern@blimps.xyz @Felthry@awoo.space ponders I think I might have one of them. I have a few calendar books from an obsession with calendar systems back in the early 2000s. (But that part of my book collection is currently blocked off.)

@LilFluff @Felthry Ooh, David Ewing Duncan's, then? Quite liked its discussion of pre-Gregorian reform efforts.

@Austin_Dern@blimps.xyz @Felthry@awoo.space yeah, that one. Hopefully I'll have that but of shelves unblocked before I next get bitten by the concalendaring bug.
