Don't forget to top up the optical fluid in your phone's camera. I know you're as tired as I am of seeing photos with the top half all blurry. Yes, there are apps that will automatically crop them to account for low fluid levels, but why go to that trouble when refilling the fluid takes seconds and costs less than an energy cube?

@socks @terrana if you're wondering, the thing about microscopes is not actually a joke; objective lenses with magnifications more than about 100x are usually designed to be used with microscope oil, where you put a droplet of oil on the sample before moving the lens into position. the oil provides better coupling to the lens and allows for higher resolving power since the light path doesn't have to go through air (the lens rests only a mm or so from the sample)
