plugging a bike dynamo into a bridge rectifier ought to output DC voltage, yeah?

because from there it's just a matter of keeping the DC voltage stable to charge batteries with,

and if it's stable enough it could easily be plugged into an existing MPPT charger.

@LexYeen well yeah putting anything through a rectifier will give you DC, but it won't be very stable if it's from something as variable-frequency as a bike--you'll need circuitry to stabilize it

(and if you're concerned about efficiency, maybe consider a synchronous rectifier instead of just diodes)
