metroid dread is objectively really good but subjectively it's just too hard for me and it makes it kinda hard to super enjoy playing it
also if getting hit didn't do like 150 damage and if health pickups gave you more than like 5 energy that'd be really cool i think
ah cool a boss fight that doesn't give you anything followed by a miniboss that's nearly impossible to dodge reliably but kills you in like two hits, and they both take over 30 attempts each

@kat If you've gotten the ability that lets you do a quick midair dash, it's really useful during boss fights--we overlooked it for the longest time and it probably would have made a lot of boss fights easier

@Felthry unfortunately i'm fighting the big underwater tentacle boss and you can't use it underwater

we didn't find that one too difficult though, have you figured out the gimmick to it?
as a hint--hitting that tentacle at the top isn't damaging the boss, it's just one step towards opening up its weak point

@Felthry yeah i barely beat it
no idea how you're meant to deal with the twisty attack during its second phase though, it's just impossible to dodge or counter and it does like two energy tanks of damage
