they did something similar with zero mission, where a couple of items that weren't in the original game were given a name of untranslated Chozo lettering and marked as "not compatible with current suit" or something, until you got the gravity suit later in the game

I don't remember if they did that with Samus Returns too

but this one isn't a remake

@Felthry I think in Samus Returns you *did* get an Aeion energy tank before getting an ability and it's just like "???" too

But I can't remember that well lol
