@terrana In our dialect, it is indeed pronounced like air! It's possibly slightly reduced, maybe half-long instead of long, but it's distinctly an /ei/ or maybe /eɪ/ sound

@terrana Reducing it all the way to the schwa might happen sometimes? We haven't done any real analysis of speech patterns or anything. I feel it would be understood and not sound "wrong" or even necessarily like it's even a different pronunciation, to people used to our dialect

@Felthry Huh. I didn't know that you pronounced it that way. That last a gets reduced to a schwa in my accent.
