they look and feel like slightly odd paper but you just *can't* tear them, you have to use scissors or a knife or something

the majority of people reading this probably don't even know what lint-free wipes are, but they're basically just paper towels made in such a way that they can't release any dust or fibers, for use in clean rooms

i think they're also commonly the base material used for cleaning wipes, the ones that are pre-soaked in some kind of alcohol or bleach solution
