not related but tangential, how/where do I learn enough about electronics to make audio stuff

by which I don't mean audiophile shit I mean like, a guitar pedal

my electronics knowledge is limited to making pretty patterns on LED arrays with an arduino (duemilanove, very old school)

also one time i made an ESP flood my wifi with broadcast packets and i watched my computer complain about it, that was fun

@codl if you're able to get a copy of The Art of Electronics by Horowitz and Hill, that would be a good place to start.

@codl Textbooks are always way overpriced. Should you happen to come across a cheap version though, I highly recommend it as an introduction and as a reference for electronics! Note that the third edition is probably the one you want; the second edition was released in the 80s and while the laws of physics haven't changed, the stuff that you can buy has
