so there's a supermarket chain round here called e.leclerc, and they also do truck rentals
on their trucks they print "location.leclerc" (lit: rental.leclerc). there's no indication that this is a url, no http:// or www, no planet symbol
it is quickly clear to me that this is a url, because, being a turbonerd, i know that you can just buy a TLD nowadays, and i know that they did. but this seems confusing for everyone else. if anything, this looks like an instagram username (not taken, btw)
@codl no to all three and also "leclerc" probably seems reasonable to a french speaker but to an english speaker it parses as "lec lerc" and just sounds amusing
