@packbat i suspect they will count that, we just haven't gotten a response on our email yet
we also probably have a lower threshold for unnavigable than our coworkers because we're the only ones with little to no experience driving in snow and ice, everyone else has lived here or somewhere similarly snowy for years, in some cases their entire lives

@Felthry @packbat I'd expect, if there's actual people making staffing decisions there, that they'd be very sympathetic to being late for inclement weather. Especially for someone with little experience driving in the snow.
(I also imagine you've been given all the snow-driving advice you can take, but, I'm confident that you're thoughtful, cautious, and mindful, so likely to drive better than someone who figures, they've been through 25 winters so they've got this.)
@Austin_Dern @packbat it sounds like our direct supervisor (who is also the person who would be most inconvenienced by it) is fine with it, so that makes things feel a lot better
