my interest in obscure media formats was started from, uh, my dad handing me down this absolutely bizarre toy which was
a blue like... thick chunky Little Tikes kinda plastic thing, shaped like a camcorder, with these bright red cassettes you'd plug into it, then crank to display something in the little eye piece
i have never seen such a device before or since. it's so fuckin' weird

@Felthry i definitely got it handed down to me with like three or four cassettes (all different scenes from star wars), so like, it was clearly big enough to get at least some content!
@gardevoir we know it because our grandparents had one that was originally either our dad's or our aunt's, i'm not sure. we don't remember what cartridges they had though, that's been lost to the fog of broken memory
