Interesting how here in Denmark people tend to assume that my second last name is my actual last name, and the first one is my middle name
@socks Huh! That's something we've never heard of before. I don't think it happens in any english-speaking places

@Felthry I guess it acts as a sort of "family name", since it's pretty much unheard of for women to change their last name when they marry
@Felthry In Spain everyone has two last names, the first is your father's first last name and the second is your mother's first last name
