weird furry problems
“…you know, this admittedly isn’t quite what I had in mind for this commission, but I didn’t describe it particularly clearly, and this is something equally good or better that I’m also into, and you’ve drawn it absolutely incredibly well, so fuck it, let’s just go with this, you’re doing great”
re: weird furry problems
@gardevoir we've had that experience a few times before and one time it resulted in creating an entire worldbuilding project

re: weird furry problems
@Austin_Dern @gardevoir the entire fact that the kalasian species doesn't have a mouth on their upper head originated from the artist drawing a random character design of our predecessor's just forgetting to draw the mouth

re: weird furry problems
@Felthry @gardevoir Oh, that's *fantastic*.
re: weird furry problems
@Austin_Dern @Felthry I absolutely love that moment of, like
“fuck it, I’m rolling with this, that’s canon now”
re: weird furry problems
@gardevoir @Austin_Dern just like, during the inking stage (it was in a stream), the artist and our predecessor realized it at the same time and it just said "no wait don't fix that, i like it"

re: weird furry problems
@Felthry @gardevoir Ooh, never had one *that* inspirational, but I have had a couple commissions like that. It's been great because it *is* something I wanted and yet hadn't thought of.
(And the original intended idea remains, ready to be tried again.)
