honestly not sure if “passing privilege” just turned into a dirty word after I heard it a lot when I started transitioning forever ago, or if it just doesn’t get mentioned because i’m the only person I know who doesn’t pass
there’s probably a really long, heated philosophical argument to have about it but really all I want is to pick up my prescriptions without two photo ID checks and a guy going “sir, you can’t pick this medication up for (literally my own name)”
have literally filled half a decent sized sketchbook entirely while waiting in my car for this same pharmacy to figure out every month that I’m not a criminal, i’m just hideous
i have memorized like half the MN driver’s license anti-counterfeiting features just from the number of times someone has asked to see it and scratched at the name and the F marker because they thought I wrote it in myself
