Home cooked food, pork

I have had a big hankerin' for some pulled pork for weeks and only just now committed to making my first batch.

Pork loin in a slow cooker (6 hours, high) with a taco seasoning, pepper, and salt dry rub followed by chicken stock and honey. Rice was in a quality rice cooker and the peppers were pan cooked in oil and some soy 'n ginger sauce. Then it was topped with a light drizzle of BBQ sauce.

It is very good and I can't wait to tweak it some more to make it even better!

@Alistor Huh, with taco seasoning? That's an interesting idea...

@Felthry We have a couple big shakers of it and I think it's a good collection of spices and herbs.

@Alistor It definitely is! Just not something I'd thought of for barbecue pork
