Here's the fun part!
To machinists, while .001 is called a "thou" for a thousandth, .0001 is referred to as a "tenth", short for ten-thousandths... but it's called EXACTLY the same as a .1 tenth... and it took me YEARS to not parse it the other way around!

@JulieSqveakaroo @packbat you may call it a thou, but over here in electrical engineering we know it as a mil (not to be confused with a millimeter, another common unit in EE)
