snagged a character adopt on a whim and now it’s time to build out what their whole deal is

(I really enjoy this part)

this did accidentally result in a terrifying twitter DM from the artist though

(the context: “hey, what gender do i put on the final sheet for ya”)

(answer: since they’re a big dragon, thinking gender is “beyond your comprehension, it/he”, which will fit nicely with the other character like this I have whose gender is “a threat, they/she”)

sliding my finger back and forth between the extremes of “hey, who else remembers the concept of Delta Species from like two Pokémon TCG sets from like two decades ago” and “nope, just a poison dragon, don’t worry about the details”

@Felthry it definitely seems like a weird and obscure corner of canon to me, but I can’t say I’ve ever taken a poll or anything

@gardevoir i guess it feels less obscure to us since it's tied up in our last memories of being really into pokemon cards, we stopped being into them shortly after it was a thing and that's the state pokemon cards are frozen in in our mind

@Felthry same! I’m also a sucker for the kind of vague things implied about Holon as a location through a handful of cards here and there, and that being all we have to go on
