Doing moderately well with the two violin pieces I've been learning today.

Beethoven's Minuet in G and Bach's Minuet in G.

I ordered some Suzuki method books today so that I can work on some of that stuff in lessons. Skipping the first book and going into the second.

I also ordered some sheet music for myself. Debussy's Sonata for Violin and Piano and Bartok's Romanian Dances arranged for violin. The have a fair bit that's beyond my skill level, and I won't make them sound professional, but there's definitely a few passages I can work on in them. The Bartok one is far from my favorite stuff from him, but a few pretty folk tunes don't hurt.

Also, heck, where do people find good sheet music at not exorbitant prices?

@ziphi Both of those being minuet in g has me thinking.... you could make a series of albums that are just every composer's "minuet in G", every composer's "canon in E", every composer's "symphony in C minor"

@ziphi the album of turkish marches would only have like two pieces on it but it's weird that it happened twice
