we never fullscreen anything, for instance, and usually layer windows in a way that makes it relatively possible to click over to another one, particularly if there are two we're going back and forth between

@tabitha@chitter.xyz this usually means the second window is either much smaller and in a corner (chat programs, text editor) or it's also in the middle but taller and narrower than the other main window (so you can click on the bits of either window that stick out behind the other)
