https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lUBrwHyDMWc yet another pannenkoek video that makes you think "that's kinda interesting" and "did this *need* to be investigated and documented?" at the same time

@Felthry that poor baby
let him free
@heatherhorns i don't know if they even count as a baby after four and a half years, even for a human that's toddler territory, arguably past that into small child, and penguins grow much faster
-F
@Felthry "let him rot" - the hearth
@heatherhorns we said nothing of the sort
-F
@heatherhorns (really though i know you're just joking but being misunderstood is a major anxiety thing for us, would appreciate not joking like that in the future if that's okay)
-F
@Felthry oh my apologies! i understand!
@heatherhorns thank you!

@Felthry @heatherhorns As a cartoon penguin in a mario game, but also as a character in a painting brought to life as an alternate dimension, I don't think the penguin ages. It will forever be a baby penguin.
Bowser does some weird stuff with those power stars, I think. Just how much wish energy do you need for that sort of thing?
@Felthry Sometimes I think it's related to https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DPfMATdVN-w hitting a block for 416 years crashes Paper Mario -- bugs which involve bizarre time overflows, that is
@Felthry super mario 64 must surely be the most well-understood and well-documented piece of software in existence by now
to summarize for those who can't do video right now: if you hold the baby penguin for 4.5 years, it will cry twice closer together than normal, and its blinking animation will be cut short
that's it
