Kae in color. Their lineage is a little clearer here; the original Frob was fluorescent-orange, so Kae tones that down a bit.

Their name came from the verb "to frob", which means something like "to tweak/twiddle at random". It describes their original purpose: a testing platform for other people to force transformations onto. Distancing themselves from that past is why they wanted to change their name.
