@Felthry it really makes the characters so much more relatable when they struggle and even fail when you'd think the story is building up to a heroic moment

@Zest showing the heroes fail is, not something you see that often, not with something like that

other games have had main characters die, but having a main character die *and showing the other characters frustrated at their inability to do anything* is just, really powerful

like, the way noah really wants to do something, and the others are telling him to do something, but he just straight-up can't, recognising that even trying is likely to get the rest of them killed too

it's a really emotionally powerful moment and i think one of the highlights of the game
