Anyway I accidentally set up a team that was type advantage against all five opponents of the Champion Assessment, go me!

Champion Team:

Noivern
Pawmot
Skeledirge
Arboliva
Tinkaton
Clodsire

Clodsire and Noivern honestly carried the team to victory

@DarkOverord we've almost beaten the game and 2/3 of these are unfamiliar pokemon names

@Felthry Oh :O

I got all these early on too, just shows what just picking different mons do!

@DarkOverord our team right now is
- meowscarada
- cyclizar
- jolteon
- larvesta
- lycanroc
- arctibax

it's kind of unbalanced and we struggled a *lot* with the fairy star base (also did you know apparently the starmobiles have infinite pp or something??? we tried to pp stall its uses of magical torque and did nothing but waste a ton of potions), so we probably should put some actual thought into it instead of just "ooh this pokemon looks cute i want to have one"

@Felthry Aaaaah Arctibax is the dragon I kept seeing on the map and never seeing by the looks of it X3c

Larvesta when it evolves should be good

re: pokemon sv spoilers

@DarkOverord yeah volcarona is good

it's just. takes so long to evolve

re: pokemon sv spoilers

@DarkOverord we also have a noibat i would like to train up but i am worried about being too dragon-focused

we need something good against fairy, don't have any poison or steel pokemon or even moves

re: pokemon sv spoilers

@Felthry Admittedly my steel type is a fairy type so it kinda covers both them
