@artemis @tillianisafox Yeah, the trick with sound control is limiting hard surfaces for sound to bounce off of. Softer things like fabrics and foams absorb sound way more readily.

@LexYeen @artemis@vulpine.club @tillianisafox depending on how serious you are about it, soundproofing foam sheets are available from sites like McMaster, too. more expensive than just hanging up stuff you already have, but more effective too

if you hang up clothes and stuff, try to focus on thick, soft fabrics. coats, sweatshirts and sweatpants, wool sweaters, towels, maybe a thick curtain borrowed from another room--tshirts and khakis won't do much
