I'm trying to knock Ys Memories of Celceta out this weekend before I go back to streaming. I don't think I'd gel well with streaming Ys games. A lot of mashing and some cursing at bosses.
Gosh this game's rough though. They deliberately made a method of getting around that requires mashing and moves you 2-3x faster than walking so the temptation is so high to do it all the time. Ys level curves are a thing. Dungeons are typically full of the frustrating kind of puzzle I don't enjoy.
It's not... offensively terrible, just not my thing.
@trysdyn Have you played the early games? Ys I and II are very different from the later games.

@Felthry Yup. I enjoyed I and II quite a bit. I liked Origin and Oath too. But Celceta just feels rougher in a lot of ways.
