thoughts that go through my head when playing solitaire: - have we, as people, collectively seen every possible combination of playing card configuration? - are they all winnable? or are some of them just doomed from the start?
@Roxy I don't know about Klondike solitaire, but I think it was Freecell I read at one point in time that there were about a dozen permutations of cards where it was impossible to win. Memory might be faulty though.
@mycroft@Roxy there are a handful of permutations that are known to be impossible. there's at least one more that's suspected impossible but hasn't been proven to be impossible -F
