Yay, after *four* back-to-back reboots I may *finally* be able to try convincing this 3DConnexion SpaceMouse to be useful in non-3d programs. It's been taking up space on my desk after I got it while fucking around with Blender, then gave up on that.
The fourth reboot was actually for cleaning up after *finally* uninstalling the old version of Karabiner, which kept on bitching about not connecting to the kernel extension when I rebooted. Housecleaning day, I guess. We're doing some other much-needed cleaning around the place, too.
Installing drivers on OSX is a *lot* more of a pain in the ass than it used to be.
@anthracite spacemice seem to just have lots of problems with lots of things--we've seen a *number* of bug reports on the kicad gitlab of people saying even just having the spacemouse drivers installed crashes the program
