The sinister part about how neolibs have appropriated leftube culture is that they have saturated the airwaves so much about we should go about calling out a popular Youtuber's oopsies, that any and all legitimate criticisms of actual missteps in the leftube community has gotten drowned out and pushed away.

I am even seeing people like PIGPUNCHER punch down on other leftists for being too critical, in much the same way I remembered seeing people like Metokur target trans folk for ridicule.

Remember, almost none of them have openly criticized Contrapoints or put pressure onto her in any meaningful way when she was freely platforming truscum adjacent rhetoric, and actual truscum folk. They would rather find any excuse to sweep this under the rug rather than force her to be accountable to the very community she draws her popularity from, and is continuing still to traumatize via stochastic means and general negligence.

This should tell you where the priorities of most leftubers lie; their own social status.

And this is why I don't really believe in 90% of leftubers, it's become a trend that no longer has any honesty behind it. But then again, leftube only started becoming a thing that people tune into once white folk started getting into these spaces.

Non-white youtubers have been talking about the same stuff that leftubers have been saying for years now, but nobody really paid attention to them then.
