I wish the world would forget everything Sgt. Mark IV did in the Doom community, like he really did do enough to deserve damnatio memoriae.

Quite frankly, people arguing separating artist from art is a white imperialist talking point. You can't really separate an artist from their work, since so much of themselves are poured into it, and you can't separate cultural context from the art either.
I am done hearing excuses like this. There are millions of better doom mods out there, gaming journalists are doing a lot of harm by continuing to cover nothing but Sgt Mark IV's work.
